Beam Welcomes New Leadership Ahead of 2026 Gala Dinner

Business events association beam has revealed its updated leadership lineup as it prepares to celebrate another year of industry achievements. Effective 1 February 2026, David Tremmil, Managing Director of Inloco Events, will take over as Chair, succeeding current Chair Louisa Watson. At the same time, Linden Beattie, General Manager of Down Hotel, Spa & Estate, will step into the role of Vice Chair while also continuing his duties as the association’s Finance Director.

The official transition will be marked at beam’s prestigious Gala Dinner on 30 January 2026 at the Masters Suite in The Belfry, a flagship event that brings together industry leaders and members for networking and celebration. Under Louisa Watson’s leadership, beam has navigated an impactful year, advancing vital initiatives including new best-practice guidance for MICE service charges, a comprehensive Code of Practice review, and strategic advocacy work that has helped elevate the UK business events sector.

Tremmil, who previously served as Vice Chair, is focused on sustaining momentum and deepening collaboration across the industry, while Beattie aims to contribute to long-term financial stability. Watson will remain involved as Past Chair and ESG Director, championing continued growth and innovation as beam looks ahead to 2026.
