EEMA South Factor 2025: Industry Leaders Convene in Vizag

The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) hosted its annual South Factor 2025 at the Radisson Hotel in Visakhapatnam, bringing together over 250 event planners and 100 vendors from across India for two days of insightful discussions, networking, and collaboration.​

The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by women attendees, symbolizing inclusivity and empowerment. Keynote addresses by industry stalwarts, including EEMA President Samit Garg and Vice President South D.V. Vinod Gopal, set the stage for dialogues on current trends, challenges, and best practices in the event management sector.​

A highlight of the gathering was the session with Amrapali Kata, IAS, Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism, who emphasized the critical role of tourism and events in economic development. She advocated for strengthened collaboration between the government and the event industry to enhance destination tourism and infrastructure within the state.​

The conference also addressed workplace equality and well-being, featuring interactive discussions led by Sushma Gaikwad, Chairperson of WeCare. Attendees shared experiences and strategies for fostering a more inclusive and supportive work environment.​

Concluding with a yoga session led by EEMA Secretary Taranbir Sahni, participants reflected on the event's discussions and experiences. EEMA South Factor 2025 reinforced its role in shaping the future of the event industry through meaningful dialogue and collaboration.​
