Central to this initiative is MagicBadge™ Engage, a next-generation experience that moves beyond traditional QR codes. Attendees receive a secure, phone-based digital badge that they can tap or scan at various touchpoints throughout an event. These interactions unlock gamified challenges, reward opportunities, and personalized content turning every session, booth, or activation into an engaging moment that encourages participation and discovery.

By combining Eventbase’s scalable mobile event app expertise with Komo’s interactive engagement tools, event organisers can now capture richer audience insights and foster deeper participation in real time. The partnership aims to help brands create more meaningful connections, extending engagement long after an event’s scheduled sessions conclude.

According to Eventbase CEO Jeff Sinclair, the collaboration raises the bar for interactive experiences, while Komo CEO Joel Steel emphasised the shift towards play and participation as vital elements in modern event design.
