GPJ Rolls Out Strategic Leadership Shift to Boost Global Consistency

Global experiential marketing powerhouse George P. Johnson (GPJ) has implemented a targeted leadership restructuring aimed at enhancing regional alignment and brand consistency. These moves mark the next chapter under newly appointed Global CEO Fiona Bruder.

Leading the charge is Oliver Ehmke, promoted to Managing Director for the Middle East & Africa (MEA), based in Dubai. Ehmke, formerly head of GPJ Germany, has been instrumental in launching GPJ's presence in the MEA region, including the pivotal DP World account and entry into Saudi Arabia. Next, Jonathan McCallum steps into the role of Managing Director, Europe—bringing his experience as UK Managing Director and Head of Strategy to overseeing operations across the continent. Meanwhile, Germany sees a promotion of veteran Jens Arnegger, with a 17-year GPJ tenure, to Country Manager. He will support both McCallum and Ehmke during this transition period.

These appointments reflect GPJ’s focus on tighter global coordination, regional growth acceleration, and delivering unified, high-impact brand experiences. Fiona Bruder emphasized that with this strengthened leadership team, GPJ is “poised to deepen [its] impact across regions and disciplines,” reinforcing its ambition to be the world’s most strategic and creative experiential agency.
