Jon Shone Appointed Director at Goho, Bringing Major Event Expertise

London-based boutique marketing and PR agency Goho has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Jon Shone as Director, the company announced this week. Shone, a seasoned event producer and musical director, brings over two decades of experience in live production, show design and musical direction to his new role.

Shone’s career began in the UK theatre and pop scene as a keyboard player and arranger. He quickly built a reputation in musical direction, working with major artists and on high-profile tours. Notably, he served as Musical Director for One Direction, overseeing multiple world arena and stadium tours as well as concert films. His portfolio also includes collaborations with artists such as Charli XCX, JP Cooper, N-Dubz and Gabrielle Aplin, along with extensive work on The X Factor as an arranger and pianist.

In his new leadership position at Goho, Shone will partner with Managing Director Stacey-Rebekka Karlsson to manage daily operations, support strategic planning and help drive growth. His broad production expertise is expected to enhance the agency’s event offerings and creative impact for clients. Goho says the addition strengthens its commitment to delivering standout experiences.
