The upcoming PALM AV-ICN Expo 2025, scheduled from May 29 to 31 at NESCO Mumbai, aims to bolster India's prowess in professional audio, lighting, and AV manufacturing. Building upon its legacy, the 23rd edition seeks to transition the industry from a distribution-centric model to a robust manufacturing and export-oriented framework.​

India's burgeoning domestic market offers a fertile ground for scalable production, positioning the nation as a potential hub for competitively priced, well-designed pro audio products on the global stage. The government's investments in semiconductor manufacturing further underscore the need for local AV product production to stimulate internal demand for components, thereby supporting the viability of chip fabrication initiatives.​

Spanning 45,000 square meters, the expo will host over 300 exhibitors showcasing advancements in mixing consoles, line arrays, immersive audio solutions, stage lighting, visual effects, trussing, and rigging. A dedicated focus on 'Made in India' products will highlight the contributions of domestic brands to the industry's growth.​

Attendees can also anticipate a dynamic three-day conference featuring industry leaders discussing innovations in immersive sound, digital displays, AI-driven integration, and smart AV solutions. The PALM Sound & Light Awards will honor exceptional contributions in stage, sound, and lighting, celebrating the achievements of professionals such as sound engineers, set designers, stage production companies, and lighting designers.

Ramesh Chetwani, Project Director of PALM AV-ICN Expo, emphasized the event's role as a catalyst for the industry's evolution, stating that the expo continues to be the driving force behind India's booming pro audio, lighting, and AV sectors.​
