Rise AV Expands into North America with New Regional Council and Mentoring Program

Rise AV, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and retaining women in the audiovisual (AV) industry, has announced the launch of its North America Regional Council ahead of a new mentoring program planned for 2027.

The council brings together eight experienced professionals from companies including Google, Apple, AtlasIED, and other AV industry organizations. Led by Gina Sansivero of AtlasIED, the group will help develop regional partnerships, support professional development opportunities, and build a stronger community for women working in AV.

The upcoming six-month mentoring program will combine one-to-one mentoring, practical skills development, and peer networking. Participants will have opportunities to strengthen their leadership, communication, personal branding, and career-planning skills.

Rise AV’s expansion is supported by global partners QSC and Neat, enabling the mentoring program to remain free for participants. Vanessa Tolisano has also joined as North America Program Coordinator to support the program’s regional delivery.

Applications are scheduled to open on December 1, 2026, and close on January 31, 2027. Mentor and mentee pairings are expected in March, with the program beginning in May 2027.
