Strata Unveils “Powered By Nature: Allure Through a Bee’s Eyes” at Saatchi Gallery for Peugeot

Strata has crafted an immersive and innovative installation titled “Powered By Nature: Allure Through a Bee’s Eyes” at London’s Saatchi Gallery, in partnership with Peugeot. Commissioned as part of Peugeot’s repositioning as a forward-thinking technology brand, the exhibition draws inspiration from the automaker’s pioneering nature-powered photoshoot claimed to be the world’s first powered entirely by plants, soil, water, and organic waste.

Visitors are guided on a multi-sensory journey that shifts from human perception to the ultraviolet vision bees use to navigate their environment. The central feature is a bespoke dome complete with UV-reactive planting, a living biophilic wall, and enveloping soundscapes, all designed to reveal hidden patterns in nature.

The exhibition integrates imagery from the original Powered By Nature photoshoot by photographer George Williams, which generated electricity using 30 microbial fuel cells developed by Nova Innova drawing power from plants, soil, water, and organic waste, stored in rechargeable batteries via a living light module.

Also featured are works by British artist Boo Saville, whose visual practice explores transformation and natural cycles. Strata’s team collaborated closely with Nova Innova and Williams to adapt the outdoors-driven concept into a sustainable, indoor gallery environment. The result is a visually arresting installation that blends science, art, and environmental storytelling to rethink brand experience and engage visitors in a fresh, sensory understanding of nature’s hidden beauty.
