The Meetings Show Introduces Industry-First Childcare Facility to Support Event Professionals

The Meetings Show is set to make history in the events sector by becoming the first trade show in the meetings and events industry to offer a dedicated on-site crèche for attendees with children. The initiative is aimed at improving accessibility and helping professionals balance family responsibilities while attending industry events.

Scheduled to take place at Excel London on 24–25 June 2026, the childcare service will be delivered in partnership with specialist provider Nipperbout. The fully staffed and accredited facility will welcome children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, while also providing dedicated spaces for breastfeeding and baby care.

Organisers say the move reflects the changing needs of today’s workforce and highlights a broader industry focus on inclusion. The themed childcare area, designed as an interactive play environment, will offer creative activities and supervised entertainment throughout the event.

With more than 550 exhibitors and representatives from over 80 destinations expected to attend, The Meetings Show continues to expand its visitor experience. The introduction of a dedicated crèche is being viewed as a progressive step that could inspire other trade shows to adopt more family-friendly event policies in the future.
